ADA Signs
Mn State Industries can provide you with signs which will be in complete compliance with the Americans with disabilities Act.
These signs will also comply with the 1995 revised guidelines of the Minnesota Department of administration, Division of State Building Construction.
Mn State Industries provides the latest in Braille lettering. The letters are formed by plastic beads which are embedded in the sign surface. These beads provide greater uniformity and are more easily read than the older method of routing out the Braille characters.
Signs designed to comply with ADA standards include:
- Required finish
- Proper degree of contrast between characters and background
- Raised and braille characters and pictograms (if appropriate)
- Proper character height and font style
- Mounting information provided for correct installation upon request
