Product Description:
Wood Book Cart 44" wide, 17" deep, and 39" high. With four fixed angle
shelves and flat storage space on the bottom. Cart rolls on two swivel
castors and two fixed locking castors.
Materials:
Lumber: All exposed wood shall be
Northern Red Oak free from all detrimental defects and selected in
uniform grade and color. Air and kiln dried to final moisture content of
5 to 6%. This material will then be allowed to condition a minimum of 30
days before machining.
Cores: All cores
are to be Type 1, Grade B, Class 2 panels and shall have a medium
density of 35 to 50 lbs./cubic foot. All specifications will follow the
guidelines outlined by the National Particle Board Association
specification AMST-D-1037-63T.
Veneer: Exposed
veneers shall be Grade "A" plain-sliced Red Oak not less than 1/28"
thick. Face veneers shall be free from splits, patches and detrimental
defects.
High pressure laminates:
Laminate material shall be .050" thick and will meet NEMA LD3 standards.
Backing sheet not less than .020" shall be used where appropriate.
Finishing:
Three-step process incorporating oil based stain to specified color,
Power Process Opticlear Pre-Catalyzed 25 degree lacquer sanding sealer
and topcoat 30-35 sheen. All parts sanded between coats.

Specifications:
Bottom is 1'thick oak veneer MDF with ¼" solid oak
edging on two sides.
Ends are 1" thick oak veneer MDF with ¼" solid oak
edging on vertical sides and top edge.
Shelves are ¾" thick solid oak 10¾" high and 6½"
deep. They are set at a 22-degree angle and fastened to the cart sides
with Confirmat Connectors. |
