Modular Shelving

The MINNCOR Starter & Add System allows easy and economical expansion with a modular system that is 36" on center. The starter unit is a complete shelving section. The add-on units attach to the starter with a cost saving intermediate panel.

These modular units are available as single or double-faced styles. Single-faced units do not have a back and are designed to be anchored to a wall. Double-faced units are equipped with a center-dividing panel.

Free Standing Units

Free-standing units are finished on all exposed surfaces. Single faced units include a fixed back panel and are designed to be positioned against a structural wall for stability.

	Periodical shelving can be integrated into either stand-alone or starter & add wood shelving, providing a uniform look. Slanted shelves with a lip on the front of the shelf allows the current issue of the periodical to be displayed while back issues can be stored on an optional flat shelf below. All shelves are adjustable. The periodical shelves are a fixed slant design and do not pivot.

Two standard heights: 46" (with two shelves) & 84" (with five shelves). All shelves are 12" deep, finished dimension. Custom sizes are available; please consult your MINNCOR sales representative.

Construction Features of Bookcases/shelving

All natural northern grown hardwood oak and oak veneers on ply-core substrate.
End panels, dividers, and shelves are 1" thick ply-core oak veneer banded with solid oak hardwood. Shelves are banded on both long edges to minimize deflection. The ply-core substrate used in this product provides maximum strength while eliminating the twisting, warping and cracking seen on glued solid wood panels which is caused by climate changes seen in the upper Midwest.
Floor levelers are standard on all styles of shelving.
The top of the 46" high unit has a high-pressure plastic laminate surface.
Shelf supports are structurally sound metal-to-metal connection using a channel and clop system, adjustable in 1/2" increments.
All finishes are extremely durable due to a three step process utilizing a satin finish, 25-degree catalyzed lacquer, sanding sealer and topcoat.
